What we collect, why, and on what basis
1. Site visits
When you visit jaegeranalysis.com, our hosting provider processes
limited technical information: your IP address (for delivery and
security), browser type, the page you visited, and the referring page
if any. Where cookie-free analytics are enabled, we also use aggregate
audience measurement.
Lawful basis: legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
2. Contact form and email
If you send us a message via the contact form or by email, we receive
the name, organisation (if provided), email address, subject category,
and the contents of your message. We use this information solely to
reply to your inquiry and to maintain a record of the correspondence.
Lawful basis: pre-contractual measures at your request
(Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in responding
(Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
3. Engagements
When we enter into a research engagement, additional personal data (e.g. signatory names, billing contacts) is processed under the engagement contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and applicable accounting and tax retention obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

The following processors may handle personal data on our behalf where the corresponding feature is enabled:

- Plausible Insights OÜ — cookie-free analytics, where enabled.
- Resend, Inc. — transactional email delivery when you use the contact form.
- Buttondown LLC — newsletter delivery only if a newsletter signup is offered and you subscribe.
Relevant provider terms and data processing arrangements apply. The list is updated when a provider is added or removed.
International transfers
Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or by an applicable adequacy decision. Details available on request.
Retention
Contact-form correspondence is retained for as long as needed to complete the conversation, and afterwards for a reasonable period for reference. Engagement-related records are retained for the legally required periods under Estonian accounting and tax law. Analytics data is retained in aggregate form only.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw any consent you have given. You may also lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (aki.ee) or the data protection authority in your country of residence.
To exercise any of these rights, write to info@jaegeranalysis.com. We respond within 30 calendar days.
Cookies
jaegeranalysis.com does not set marketing or tracking cookies. Our analytics provider (Plausible) is cookie-free. Some technical cookies may be set by embedded third-party services (e.g. a scheduling embed), where used; these are noted in context and you may decline them.
